Sonic the Hedgehog

The influence of public opinion has become more important than ever, and this is very much seen in the latest Sonic movie.
Many fans were notably disturbed at the original crack at making Sonic into a more 3D character with more realistic features, and the sheer uproar sent the creators back to the drawing board to create the character with those 3D details but with the same cartoon details that many come to expect.

And while the story line of the film could be considered totally basic, I believe fans would head over to the cinema (pre-social distancing) and watch the film, if only to see how the creators had changed the look of Sonic to one that would be more crowd appealing.

It was great fun to see the film that depicted the character I had grown up playing, and even better to see that there were enough loose ends to suggest that there may be a a sequel or two in our future.

I think it was also brilliant casting on their part to get the great Jim Carrey to play the infamous Dr. Robotnik, as his wacky personality lends itself to the character very well.

I for one, am looking forward to seeing Tails, Amy rose, and Knuckles in the future instalments and how they infuse the different worlds together.
